On 6 November, NOSTER will launch Religienet.nl, a portal that provides an overview of research and education in the field of theology and religious studies in the Netherlands. Visitors can find basic information on 65 BA and MA programmes, tracks or specialisations in theology, religious studies and Islamic studies. We are also delighted that almost two hundred senior researchers have completed a form to create a profile. Religienet will be the perfect portal for future students as well as politicians, policy makers, religious leaders, journalists and other professionals.
We have created a list of themes, such as sustainability, religion and science, migration and social identities. These will function as entries for visitors to find researchers with expertise on these themes or BA/MA programmes in which these themes play a major role. We believe that these are among the major themes that our intended audience will be interested in.
Religienet will aim at a broader Dutch audience and will, therefore, be in Dutch. The portal will be launched on Friday 6 November, at the end of NOSTER’s 25th Anniversary Conference. You can also stay updated by following @religienet on Twitter.
