NOSTER Event: EU Research Funding for Theology and Religious Studies

Date: Friday 13 November 2026 Time: 13:30–17:00 Location: University of Humanistic Studies, Kromme Nieuwegracht 29, 3512 HD Utrecht, Room 0.38

This afternoon meeting focuses on EU research funding for theology and religious studies. Experts will discuss the present and future of EU research funding, members of ERC review panels will explain what makes excellent applications stand out, and successful applicants will share their insights and experiences. The aim is to deepen our understanding of the opportunities at the European level and to help participants submit stronger, more competitive applications. There will be time for Q&A, as well as for connecting with colleagues over coffee and drinks.

The event is primarily aimed at NOSTER senior members (from postdocs to full professors), but junior members (ReMA students and PhD candidates) are very welcome to attend as well.
