Course Description: This seminar offers a forum to present and discuss the ReMA or PhD research projects of the participants. The sessions alternately focus on the exploration of current debates in the multidisciplinary field of Religion, Theology and Gender and on the mastering of dissertation skills, both in relation to the research projects of the participants. Dissertation skills that are trained include styles of writing, references and bibliography, personal commitment and academic distance, publishing strategies, choosing and defending scholarly methods and positions.
Course objectives: The course aims at supporting the participants during their research by introducing them to current issues of scholarly debate and by developing their dissertation skills through workshops and interaction with peers.
Teaching methods: Assignments, presentations, responses and discussions.
