Research Collaboration Groups

NOSTER has introduced the concept of Research Collaboration Groups (RCGs) to stimulate the cooperation between senior NOSTER members. Because NOSTER does not have formal bodies of disciplinary cooperation, the concept of research collaboration groups offer NOSTER members the opportunity to organise research cooperation by setting up a research collaboration group themselves that aims, for example, to work on a joint publication or research funding application.

Application form for funding of a Research Collaboration Group

For each year NOSTER’s Executive Board determines a set amount per senior member that will be reserved for e.g. funding of international conferences, colloquia and publications resulting from the work of Research Collaboration Groups (RCGs). The size of this amount for the current year is mentioned on the page with general information on RGCs. When the application has been accepted, the applicant is responsible for providing progress reports during the project and a final report after completing the project. This report should clearly describe form and content of the RCG’s activities, including a financial overview. These reports will be published in NOSTER’s newsletters and the annual report. Applications should be sent to NOSTER’s office at least three weeks before the next meeting of NOSTER’s Executive Board (see NOSTER activities).

The current research collaboration groups are listed below.
